Brief Information on Spector Lumenex PAGA. Design requirements for In-Plant Paging and Communication System. BASIC DESIGN PUBLIC ADDRESS AND GENERAL ALARM SYSTEM, SPECTOR LUMENEX. Public Address and General Alarm is integrated digital ISDN telecommunication System that consists of amplifiers, speakers, desktop station, master call stations, handset stations etc. The system should be able to provide inside plant communication system and capable to be interchanged with external telephone PABX system. The purpose of PAGA is to broadcast alarm and also paging throughout the plant speakers. And also be able to provide two way communication via stations between two or more parties (intercom,/conference call) PAGA system comprising of equipments as follows:
- Paging amplifiers and speakers in the Plant areas
- Paging wall handset call stations in the Plant areas
- Paging amplifiers and speakers in the buildings
- Paging wall handset call stations in the buildings
- Paging desktop call stations in the buildings
- Paging Master call stations in control rooms
- Central control cabinets
- Interconnection cables
The works will include supply and installation of all items:- Central Control Units equipped with ISDN switching technology, alarm tone generation, network (LAN) connections, telephone, Fire & Gas, DCS and PC interfaces
- Call Stations and inter-cabling with junction boxes/enclosures.
- Speakers and speaker amplifiers. Calculation the number of speakers that are required to provide adequate sound coverage of each identified area on the provided drawings.
- Acoustic booths in areas of high noise levels;
- Mounting assemblies;
- Power supplies from a dedicated 48vDC or 110 VAC to 240 VAC / 50/60 Hz / Single Phase UPS System equipped with batteries having eight (8) hours autonomy;
- Control Room Operator’s Stations.
- Miscellaneous items necessary to complete the systems design, such as line extenders, line balance assemblies, terminal boxes, etc.
